Have you ever heard that your weight has 90% to do with food and 10% to do with exercise?
Think of it this way…all the complaints and excuses we make about exercise really don’t matter so much! It’s very important to get exercise because of its many health benefits. But, when it comes to obesity, Americans just keep packing on the LB’s and it’s because of what we eat.
If we eat unhealthy foods and expose ourselves to toxins & heavy metals, our bodies will undergo inflammation. These bad food choices, toxic chemicals & inflammation causes the overproduction of  free radicals (unstable molecules) in our bodies that eventually lead to disease.
We’ve been eating such junk that our gut flora is all out of whack! Fast food, movie popcorn, meat full of antibiotics, preservatives, GMO’s, additives, etc. etc. etc. are making us obese and sick! And people get addicted to it. Some people think of this sort of food as drugs. The more you eat it, the more you crave it and the fatter and sicker you get.
Corn, soybeans, wheat and sugar are the 4 main crops used in nearly everything…everything unhealthy that is. Or though it seems.
Even cows are fed corn which their digestive tract is not meant to handle. This makes them fat and sick. E.coli bacteria contaminate the meat and farmers have to sterilize it with ammonia. So now that yummy steak you were planning to eat for dinner has dead E.coli-feces, ammonia, plus all the antibiotics the cow ate during his unhealthy life.
There’s a lot of yuck out there these days. Even the amounts of fluoride we are consuming in our drinking water can lead to obesity.
It’s important to detox your body once in a while to get rid of unnecessary toxins. You could also take a natural anti-inflammatory and make sure to reduce your exposure to toxins as much as possible. For example, don’t get amalgam fillings at the dentist-they contain mercury. Or use natural skin care and cosmetics to eliminate toxic ingredients from entering your blood stream through your skin.
And, one of the best questions to ask yourself when you’re about to eat  is, “would my ancestors eat this?”  We need to eat the way we did before the agricultural revolution. Before the we want fast, we want more, and we want cheap attitude took over.
It’s actually a challenge to be healthy because of all the unhealthy choices you have to weed through and the cost of it all, of course.
