Cancer stinks.
Personally, I’ve had 11 people in my family with 16 different types of cancer. My sister battled a rare sarcoma when she was a baby and lost her arm to the disease when she was only 5 years old (no pity please, she’s perfectly normal).
My point is, cancer is cruel!
With October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it’s a great time to take a moment to think about what we can do to prevent the disease. Simply increasing your vitamin D intake will reduce the risk of breast cancer by about 30%, according to the Vitamin D Council.

Thanks Christopher!
Great infographic! Definitely going to have to share this with my friends and family. We are big breast cancer awareness supporters. My step mother ( a breast cancer survivor) and I hand out neck lanyards and pins at every breast cancer walk that is around our way.
Lauren, pins and lanyards are a great idea! I’ve gotten breast cancer awareness pins before from SwagRobot. They make custom lapel pins and offer stock breast cancer awareness pins too. Just an idea, but I agree lanyards and pins are a great resource!
