First things first….I don’t like the name of this workout. I don’t like any workout that promises to “thin” a certain area or workouts that will “shed fat” from your stomach, thighs, etc. You can’t choose where you lose fat. Unfortunately, that’s not how it works. You can, however, work on toning the muscles throughout your body, including your legs. And who doesn’t want (or appreciate) great legs? Am I right?
By no means is this the most difficult leg workout I’ve ever done. Personally, I prefer heavy squats when I’m looking to really “feel the burn” but I have to admit I am a little sore today from it! I got the workout from vaulterfit.com. It didn’t list how long to do each exercise or how many reps to complete but here’s what I did:
- 45 seconds ice skater
- 12 reps weighted sumo squat
- 45 seconds pop squat
- 12 inward box jumps
- 45 seconds Heisman shuffle
I did this three times total and it was an okay workout–like I said I am a little sore today. Next time, I would probably aim for 5 rounds just to increase the intensity a little bit. I’m definitely going to consider incorporating some of these moves into my regular leg workouts.
Try it out and let me know what you think! Feel free to share some of your favorite leg workouts below.
